Preparation for the Exam of Slovene
Preparation for the exam at
- basic level is intended for those who are preparing to take the exam at the basic level
- intermediate level is intended for those who are preparing to take the exam at the intermediate level
- advanced level is intended for those who are preparing to take the exam at the advanced level.
Participants must have an adequate knowledge of Slovene to join this course. The teacher will take you through different types of activities and exercises, which are included in the exam of Slovene. You will have an opportunity to test your knowledge of Slovene before the official exam.
Course participation is not an obligatory condition to take the exam.
Course and duration
- at basic, intermediate and advanced level
- before each published exam
- two weeks, four 45-minute lessons a day, 40 school hours
- Monday to Friday from 5.00 pm to 8.30 pm
The course is carried out if at least 8 people are enrolled. Preparations for the exam at the intermediate and advanced level can be joined.
Dates in 2010:
- intermediate level: from 22 March to 2 April
- intermediate and advanced level: from 31 May to 11 June
- intermediate and advanced level: from 5 to 16 July*
- intermediate and advanced level: from 6 to 17 September
*NB: In February and July the Preparation for the exam is carried out within the Winter and Summer school respectively and is held from Monday to Friday from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm and thus comprises 18 lessons only (price: EUR 155).

Certificates
Certificate of Attendance
At the end of the course you will receive an official Certificate of Attendance of a Slovene language course at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana.
Certificate of Slovene
If you want to obtain an official certificate of Slovene you can take the Exam of Slovene at the Examination centre of the Centre for Slovene as a Second/Foreign Language.
Participants
Anyone with an interest in learning or improving their Slovene is very welcome to attend our courses. However, participants must be at least 18 years old and have an adequate knowledge of Slovene. More about the participants.
Price
EUR 340
The price does not include the exam of Slovene.
Registration & Payment
You can apply for the course via internet at least two weeks before the course begins. After we have received your application form, we will send you the invoice by regular or e-mail.
The language course must be paid in full before the beginning of the course. You should send your payment receipt via e-mail, fax or postal address. Please bring along a copy of the receipt when you join the course in order to help clarify possible misunderstandings.
When we have received the payment receipt we will send you the letter of acceptance.
