5th July, 2010 - 16th July, 2010

We would like to invite young people between the ages of 13 and 17 to visit Ljubljana in the summer to attend a course of Slovene language and at the same time spend an unforgettable holiday.

This is the fifth year that the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Arts Centre for Slovene as a Second/Foreign Language has organised a Youth Summer School of Slovene Language. The course begins on Monday July 5th 2010 and ends on Friday July 16th 2010 (departure is possible on Saturday July 17th). Participants of the Youth Summer School of Slovene Language are expected to arrive on Sunday July 4th 2010 when we will all meet at 7 pm with the course attendants' parents and supervisors for an information evening.

At the end of the course the participants will receive an official Certificate of Attendance of a Slovene language course at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana.

Summer School activities are not limited to language learning; there is also a varied social programme, where you can get acquainted with Slovene culture, history and contemporary reality, although we won't forget about having fun. The activities of the accompanying programme are held in the afternoons and evenings and are covered by the tuition fee. On Saturday, 11th July 2010, we will organise a whole-day excursion.
