Erasmus Intensive Language Course
6–30 September 2010
24 January–17 February 2011
The course is only intended for students registered in a higher education institution holding an Erasmus University Charter, who have been selected for an Erasmus study/placement period.
Registration
Students apply for participation in an EILC through their home institution with a special application form. The deadline for applying is 1 June 2010 (course in September 2010) and 29 October 2010 (course in January 2011).
Course and duration
- before the winter semester: 6–30 September 2010
- before the summer semester: 24 January–17 February 2011
- 4 school hours a day for a total of 64 hours
- Monday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm
Location
Faculty of Arts, 2 Aškerčeva, Ljubljana
Certificates
After successful completion of the course participants are awarded 3 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). A 87-percent attendance is required in order to receive a certificate, thus each participant can be absent for two school days.
Cultural component
Every week we will organise additional activities, where you can get acquainted with Slovene culture, history and contemporary reality.

Free of charge for Erasmus students; please note that the number of places is limited.
