The 32nd Summer School of Slovene Language, which hosts over 100 participants from all over the world each year, will take place from 1 to 26 July 2013.
You can attend a two- or a four-week morning course, and one of many different elective courses. A varied accommpanying programme is also held in the afternoons and evenings.
The Summer school starts on Monday, 1 July 2013, at 10.00 am in room 2 at the Faculty of Arts, 2 Aškerčeva.

Join the free of charge Pocket course of Slovene which will take place every Wednesday from 5 June to 25 September 2013 from 5.00 to 6.30 pm at the Slovenian Tourist Information Centre (10 Krekov trg).
Spend an hour and a half with our teachers and get to know the basics in a fun and exciting way. All you need is a pen, curiosity and lots of good humour!

We invite you to join the 20-hour Intensive course of Slovene from 3 to 7 June 2013 and take the one-week opportunity to learn basic communication patterns in Slovene or to refresh what you have already learnt.
The course starts on Monday, 3 June, at 5.00 pm at the Faculty of Arts.

THE JANA ZEMLJARIČ MIKLAVČIČ SCHOLARSHIP TRUST

The Jana Zemljarič Miklavčič Scholarship Trust makes grants to individuals who are either professionally or non-professionally engaged in Slovene culture or in another way contribute to the promotion of Slovenia in the world and do not have Slovene background.
There are two scholarships available for the 2-week course and one for the 4-week course at the 32nd Summer School of Slovene Language.
By 1 May 2013 candidates have to send an application for a grant via , fax or our mail address which has to include:
- a CV;
- a motivation letter (an explanation why the candidate in question is eligible for the grant, what is his/her contribution to the promotion of Slovenia);
- proofs of activities in the area of Slovene culture (e.g. a part of a study from the area of culture, a translation of works of Slovene literature etc.);
- references.
